Andy Saunders is recognised as a seasoned veteran in corporate communication with over 30 years of experience in the UK music industry.  Early in his distinguished career, Andy was the Director of Communications at Creation Records, guiding the legendary label’s global communications strategy for nearly a decade. In 2000, he founded Velocity Communications, a company specialising in corporate communications strategy and implementation for music industry clients, including record labels, music publishers, trade associations and distributors. Velocity Communications is also widely acknowledged as the leading provider of crisis PR strategies. From 2010 to 2019, Andy entered academia as a lecturer for the acclaimed Music Industry Management (MIM) Degree course at the University of Hertfordshire. His commitment to music education is further evidenced by his recognition as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Additionally, Andy co-founded a prominent UK music industry awards event – The A&R Awards, which is celebrating its seventh year.
